Wanted to put the feelers out and see if anyone has had a similar experience to me...
I bought 560xp earlier this year and have found it to have really high fuel consumption. I cut loads of logs for the back of the pick up with it and a 357, almost invariably the 560 uses twice as much juice as the 357, very noticable difference...
Anyone else experienced this with these saws?
When I think about how this will add up over the life of the saw I seem to come to the conclusion I was better off with the old saw.
I've taken it back to the dealer (FR Jones & Son) who tell me that theres nothing wrong with the saw, no fix under warrenty and no refund. The best solution they could come up with was to sell it on ebay and buy a different model!
I can't believe this is right... Tried to quiz Hurqvarna directly about it through their online feedback/complaints and they've not replied, also won't talk technical on the phone unless I'm a dealer....
Really frustrating...
Anyone got any suggestions or insights?
