Vegetation Operative/Groundsman Full Time

Beechenlea Maintenance Limited is a small family run business located in Essex and operating in London, Essex and Suffolk. We are recognised as a specialist vegetation control company with our core business operating within the railway industry. Our clients include TFL, London Underground, Network Rail and we also work within the utility arborist sector and private sector. Our general works include vegetation maintenance clearance, tree felling and total site clearances, tree reduction pruning, weed spraying via chemical control and general landscaping and planting works.

We are currently looking for reliable, flexible, hard-working individuals who are keen to learn and eager to develop a career in this field. You will receive training in all work-based industry training and career development opportunities will be supported to the right individuals to self-develop and improve the company’s skilled team.

The ideal candidate will hold an NPTC or LANTRA qualification in the following skill sets: brush cutters, strimmers, hedge trimmers and chainsaw operations or can demonstrate experience and competence in the use of required power tools.

Our offices are based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex, CM9.

A full, valid driving licence is essential as you must be able to report to our yard on a daily basis.

Successful candidates will be required to attend a full medical and health surveillance screening prior to carrying out any operational duties.

Wages will be based on qualifications and experience in the field.

All PPE, tools and equipment will be provided.

Arborist/Tree Climber Full Time

Beechenlea Maintenance Limited is a small family run business located in Essex and operating in London, Essex and Suffolk. We carry out contract work on the Railway, Utility Arborist Sector and we also have a local private customer base along with other contract work. Our general works include vegetation clearance, felling and tree surgery, weed spraying and planting works.

We have an exciting opportunity for individuals and we are currently looking for reliable, flexible and hard-working skilled and experienced operatives to come on board and join our growing team.

Potential applicants must hold the following: • NPTC, CS30/31/ CS38/39 CS40/41 • Preferably NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3

• The ideal candidate will hold an NPTC or LANTRA qualification in the following skill sets: brush cutters, strimmers and hedge trimmers or can demonstrate experience and competence in the use of required power tools

• Hold a full, valid driving license preferably with BE Units (must be able to report to our yard on daily basis)

• Experience in the industry or within a similar job role is essential

Wages will be discussed and based on qualifications and experience in the field. All PPE / tools and equipment will be provided, but climbing kit would be helpful.
