Look at it as a mechanical Silky... Awesome saws for the right job... Light reductions, coni topping etc.
I love mine and its always in the truck, would say the ms200 gets 85% of the climbing jobs but when the jobs suits... the 150 is out. It also serves as a backup for the 200.
Would i get one as my only tophandle.... nope

Nice thread idead Out of interest where do you guys look for these? Or is it a case of just asking around? Really need to sort out a basic yard for myself.
-
Nope, but a new one just sold on eBay for over £800 I believe......

As Steve said, you need to add it as an "HTML snippet" this can take a user to your FB page OR with a different snippet show the "amount of likes" your page has and gives the new user a direct link to "link" your page.
EDIT - if you used an online website builder like Moonfruit etc, then the forums or FAQ for the host should have this within it as its a common addition to many sites.

Price the job.

Sorry, must point out i did see the "why i use aspen" thread but after seeing it was 75 odd pages long thought id just start another thread!
Will source a good deal on some and report back
-
It should be fine changing to Aspen.
You'll probably have a problem if you put 2 stroke back in.
I've always run big saws and hedge cutters on Aspen.
Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
Was actually thinking the same with regards to sticking it in the trimmers also, again, not an everyday tool for me.

What camera do you use? Some of those images are very crisp, some excellent shots

What are the lug winches, has anyone any photos? What sort of pulling force have they?
I think tirfor winches are superb for the right job. Not bad for pulling your motor out if you get stuck.
Just been looking at them Marc.

Eah? I said it did then recommended a supplier who'll supply a winch with a cert.... I don't understand?
No, was just agreeing that they should come under Lolar thats all
Looking through the site right now.

I have a Tirfor Tu16 and a lugall.
IMHO: I had a Jet style winch it was five ton and was not a patch on the smaller Tirfor (1.6t lift/3.2t pull)
The TU16 can be bought for £100 and is a very safe bet. Light enough to carry strong enough to pull some big stuff over safely.
The 'tirfor like' winches are 'okay' but not something that's advised. The smaller ones may he better. The 5 ton one took ages to winch in and weighed what it could pull.
Tifor £ for £ is the way forward..
They do seems the business, used one a couple of times and was impressed.
First price new on a TU16 i found was about £700! Still wading through the google search.

sadly yes. But it's not too bad. Check our these guys. Home - Default
Thanks, but to be fair, with the strains on the wire Id rather it be checked. Seen very heavy gauge wire rope part when in the Navy, very scary...

I use either a Jet winch or lug all. Both are great bits of kit. The Jet winch is a budget Tifor but I can't fault it and have pulled some serious timber with it.
Jet winch looks bang on the money. Say your happy with yours?

Guess I will have to start checking out my local car boot sales
I do have a winch, but its a modified car engine host so has very limited pull before running out of chain. Having said its been a great tool.
Will look out a Tirfor.
Assume these dont come under LOLAR ? Suppose its used for lifting? But not a person of course!
-
Really could of done with one today so looking to invest in a hand operated winch for future use.
Decent Tirfor's get very good money even for second hand units.
What do you guys/girls use?
Huge range on the market from £20 - £££.
Dont want to spend the earth on something thats maybe going to get a days use per month BUT on the otherhand a decent winch would of saved us hours today... So... open to thoughts
For the record, I do 95% domestic work.

As I say, some poor fecker has probably had their account hacked and doesn't know these are being listed.
Account since 2005 for that member, no scammer would setup an account and wait all these years to make a scam. The owner may have a shock !
-
100% not genuine.
Hacked someone else's eBay account, posted email address embeded within an image (ebay wont let you post an email address) asking you to email them outside of ebay...
Ebay's listing scanning software cant see that they have posted an email address within an image and thinks its a picture of the item.
seen at least 5 of these within the last week
