  1. Weeds? Really? I am guessing that you benefit from the harvest of trees. You have to respect how they can frame a home, give you decking material, or any number of construction projects, as well as paper to write on, or to wipe your butt. I definitely do not see them as a weed. And it does not stop there. I see them as a renewable resource that we need to take care of and cultivate, and harvest when the time comes, and make room for new ones to grow. I am sick of seeing them go up in smoke by devestating wildfires, and destroying everything.
  2. By god, it sure is. I stumbled across this post and noticed that me and my pard were getting bashed, and I just couldn't keep my pie hole shut.
  3. My cutting partner and I killed that redwood, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I have spent enough time arguing about this ****, so you go ahead and think you are right on...ignorance is bliss.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
