  1. Guys we now have Avant 528's available for hire from your local Orange Plant depots! We also have the flail mower, tree shear, auger attachments etc to go with it - if theres an attachment we don't have theres a nationwide subnetwork we can pool from so please give us a shout if you need one
  2. Your friend ordered his machine with the standard wheel and Greenteeth (not ‘reluctantly’ at all). This was fitted and sent out with the correct setup for the 66hp 7015 – the ‘900’ series as recommended by Carlton. When informed a couple of weeks later after use that he wanted the larger 1100 series – I questioned - a – whether they would fit – you guys checked and they indeed do - and b - as we have never fitted them to any of our machines I checked with Carlton, whether this was okay. The 1100 series are a bigger tooth/pocket so in theory and practise will make grinding quicker which is ultimately what everyone wants to do. The trade-off could be increased fatigue, broken belts and shorter bearing life – hence the recommended teeth being the smaller 900’s. Greenteeth recommend the 1100 series teeth for 90hp and above – the 900 series is for 35hp-90hp. Carlton, The manufacturer can neither recommend or warrant aftermarket parts that aren’t for the machine in question. Now what everyone uses after they have bought the machine is down to them but we have to follow the guidelines – they are there for a reason.
