    <p>HI William</p>

    <p>The throttle and choke cables need to be lubricated otherwise they start sticking inside the sheath. I use WD40 sprayed into the top end and work the levers a bit to make the WD40 travel down. I cut two holes in the yellow metal cover to facilitate this otherwise it's a hassle having to unbolt the cover every time.</p>

    <p>However, I should also add that I store mine in a shipping container which can be very damp at times so that probably doesn't help.</p>

    <p>Also, mine is the earlier 450 and I think the current models have better levers and cables.</p>

    <p>Great machine and I wouldn't change it, despite once saying I wish I'd got the HB20 instead. The P450 or 460 is a great small machine to compliment the Carlton 7015trx or similar.</p>
