Can I have some help please I'm thinking canker but no obvious bleeding lots and lots of heavy " scarring" on second to last pic see how the scarring seems to or has "crumbled away " leaving limb barley holding on .   2. No ifs, no buts, no vehicle of any description is permitted to use the third lane when towing. Be it a M or A road, and it never has been!

     

    The only exception to this would be if there has been an accident or road works occupying lanes 1 and 2 and you have been directed to lane 3 for safety reasons.

     

    The rule does not apply to dual lane M & A roads.

     

    I don't know how long it is since you passed your driving test, but I find you're ignorance in this matter quite staggering. Whilst you are not expected to know every UK Road Traffic Law chapter & verse, it is your responsibility to have a basic understanding of what you can & cannot do in relation to the vehicle you are driving at the time.

     

    Suggest that if you haven't already done so, get thee to a shop and buy a current copy of The Highway Code and revise what your responsibilities are when out on the open road. Far too many people these days seem to think that once they get their driving licence they can throw the rule book away and do as they damn well please!

     

    Here here sounds harsh but no gnarly oak is quite right. A refresh of the highway code is not a daft idea for anyone

  3. This may sound like total crud-speak (what's new) but here goes.

     

    I have done a few connies over the years and I recon theres a point at which a reduction on leylandii results in no new growth upwards!

     

    Yes, once all branches are gone it will not re-grow anyway, but I have seen many examples where a customer insisted on a massive reduction (say.. 60% height) and when we go back to trim the face 2-3 years later there is no new growth at all on the top.

     

    I'd be interested to know if anyone else has found this - or am I imagining it?

     

    If there is a point at which vertical growth is stopped it could be a useful bit of info to know.

     

    Yep your right it does sound like crud speak but I have to say I have come across that scenario on more than one occasion. Never really thought about it much , but I wonder if there is a Magic sweet spot that gives said result .

  4. Flat out on deliveries and bags. Just filled and moved another 100 bags round to the house ready for tomorrow's rush. Will probably have sold all 100 bags by Sunday afternoon, then it's fill,fill,fill ready for the mid week and Christmas rush. The problem with selling from the house is everyone likes a chat!

  5. Agreed, also if he's the boss he should be providing you all with matching trousers and helmets, so what's the issue?

     

    Agreed .. And that's speaking as a boss ! Company image helps set a good team

  6. Agree it's not the fastest method but we have a processor to. we use it for gnarly stuff above 16" and billets for clients with biiiig fires also a traditional single ram up n down to table style so we can split most things reasonably efficiently. I would not choose it as my main machine
