  1. How would you avoid internodal and still keep the curve? Sorry for ignorance haven't done courses yet so never been taught??
  2. There's a smaller sycamore in front of which is hard to make out in photo. Just right of center which could be the cause of the clutter. With the smaller bits my reasoning behind that was to get the maximum amount of leaves possible. Cheers for the advice
  3. My first reduction on my own. It's a sycamore. Any advice on what I can improve on in the future is appreciated.
  4. Is far as in know I don't think anyone has a tracked chipper on the island. There all either tow along or pto (tractor driven)
  5. I thought it could go either way. If one in four replies are serious I'm on to a time saving winner. Like the cable tie idea.
  6. Whose got some usefull little tricks that make your life easier. For example using a bit of hose pipe to keep your tool clips from snagging on branches while climbing. I haven't been in the business for long so some of you more experienced guys must have the odd trick.

    New job

    Some Of you may remember I went to to work for a weekend for free at a local tree surgeons firm. Well found out today that I got the job start in 2 weeks. So thought I'll give everyone a heads up about getting bombarded with questions. And hopefully after a while I'll be a able to contribute to the fouram a little more.

  11. Hi guys I'm new the fourum and have to says u guys are doing a great job lots of info on here. Ive been looking to get in the industry for some time and may have finally got a break working for free one weekend. The boss knows I'm a newbie but is there anything I can learn before starting? I've been rock climbing for many years so should be ok with knots. Im currently a scaffolder so my fitness should be above average. I just wanna be able to give off the best impression. Any constructive help welcomed cheers guys/girls
