    Yes! Brilliant, thank you so much. I looked up both your suggestions and found this picture ( http://www.keele.ac.uk/media/keeleuniversity/arboretum/treeimages/m-n/acer-negundo.jpg ) which is exactly right. Thank you very much; and for being complimentary about my photos. Would I hear a collective groan if I mentioned that I have just bought a house on 1.5 hectares of mature parkland (up to 200 years old) and the only things I can identify are the oaks and an apple tree....:stupid:
