I have two staffys ,and considering they are such a friendly people loving breed they attract the complete cretin .

Must be a reason you want to know but who really cares ,as long as I feed me kids and pay the bills I couldn't give a monkeys mate.

If your doing an acre or so sometimes wouldn't you be better of with a rough cut mower . I was in same situation and brought a Etesia av 51 21inch walk behind for 500 second hand .great mc for taking in woods after a bit of thinning , goes through thick long stuff in no time.

Harry mate just make sure you give it a good going over till nothing's coming down , I've also got a open fire yrs back made the fatal mistake of not covering opening , bloody place looked like a bomb had gone off ,missus threatened divorce , white staffy went black I got a cough!.

Makes sense stubby I think they charge 60 quid or so for less than one hrs work down here , and lets face it rocket science it ain't !.

Got a set of rods with a disc a worm for the drains and a brush or sweep for chimney 20 yrs back I put em up every autumn before I start log burner up never had a problem. If you don't mind getting mucky DIY , as for the drains that really is a mucky business!

Johnys on the money I only use mine now to blow leaves an debris out of flower beds got a br600 for main clearing lot easier on the arm an lot quicker.

Steve had I few yrs back really good an stable , did a lot of tall connys , keep wd40 handy cos they stick . From memory mine had a stabilising bar which soon got left behind great on uneven ground, mine lost a argument with oak limb.

Nice pair of slacks and polo shirt wiv no brekky on it . Avoid them poncy slim jeans especially if you've got mans legs.

Agree with fergy haix for comfort on ground trekker mountains my protector pro ext split but were replaced under warranty.

I have to drive a 1952 Bentley for the ascot races every year for one regular ,regular trips in pick up to lots rd auctions in Chelsea for furniture , odd school run , decorating when it's tipping down. How's that for starters.

Got a pair of haix trekker mountain 15 months old still going strong . My protector pro extremes were replaced foc after 8 months split at sides. Trekkers very comfy , still waterproof recommend em.

Thanks mark as a Londoner now living in the sticks with staffs it can be a pia every other dog is on the gun because of these idiots me and the good lady get all sorts of comments and looks on a walk,my two dogs are scared of the rabbit . I put it down to a shortcoming in trouser department !
