  1. I’ve been asked to mill some Elm for a family member. The brief was a bit vague, but I gather they want to use the timber to make a small box/cabinet type thing. I’m looking for some advice on what thickness to cut it to. I was thinking 1 inch, so after it’s been kiln dried and thicknessed I’m guessing I would have a 3/4 inch product. Thoughts ?
