  1. Hi all, my names is Chester, I am 22 and I live in Ramsgate, Kent. I'm currently with the Fire Service but I have always been interested in a career in the arb industry. Before I get my CS30 / 31 I am hoping to find some voluntary work at the weekend with a local company so I can see if the job is for me. I have recreational and voluntary experience in woodland management and grounds maintenance including use of saws. I am also safety concious and a hard worker. If anyone knows or hears of anything available I would like to hear from you. Contact me by text (07539479342) or email ([email protected]) Regards, Chester.

  3. Hello everyone, My name's Chester Thompson, I'm 21 and live in Ramsgate, Kent. I currently work part time as a firefighter for Kent Fire and Rescue Service but I have always wanted to work in the arboricutlure industry. I have voluntary experience under my belt but as of yet I haven't been able to afford my CS qualifications. I am currently looking for a weekend position, part time set week day, or I would consider a full time position if it was offered on a permanent basis I am happy to work a trial day if required. I am also happy to use any wages earned entirely on course fees for the first month. I am keen to begin a long term career but I will consider any offer. If anyone has anything available I would really appreciate discussing it further with you. Thanks for your time, Chester Thompson.

  5. Hello guys, I am also a part time firefighter (ramsgate) and I'm really interested in a career in arboriculture. thought I'd ask... @Dan Young: I am looking for a second income (evenings and weekends) and I happen to have bar experience. do you have anything available on the bar?? any wages earned will go towards CS qualies. @TOMLEAF: not to tread on Dan's toes... but if you ever have room for two guys give me a shout. keen and willing with a bit of voluntary work under my belt but no CS qualies as of yet. I am currently with KFRS weekdays so if you ever have Saturday work, let me know. possible weekdays with advanced notice. Nice one guys, I hope to hear from you soon. See you on the fireground sometime. Chester Thompson.
