  1. Hello All, please bear in mind the 150 is over 13 years old in design terms and still cuts it as a professional chipper. the new "150" will be good!

Hello Mate, The application is the key thing to qualify. a S426 shredder is the right machine for rootballs, and contaminated timber such as posts with staples and demolition timber with butt hinges on etc and is effective at processing them however it is not a chipper. I guess what i mean is the shred shape and size is very different to a chip so may not be as widely accepted, also the speed at which the machine will process cord wood will be slightly slower than a chipper. The weight of the S426 is way over 750kg so towing licences are a must. Not a comprehensive explanation but i hope it helps!!
