  1. Hi guys. Finally got the chipper sorted. tried everything, blades, anvils, belts and even a new shute, none of this worked. The lads in micheal large(my local dealer) then welded new flights to the outside of the flywheel aswell as replacing the old plate at the bottom of the shute that was pretty bent. it now chips like a demon, we have had everything through it this last two weeks including conifer and privite hedge trimmings. im well pleased. Thanks for the advice lads matthew ward
  2. funny the dealer keeps trying to tell me the same thing, getting a bit fed up with it.
  3. hi folks, I recently bought a used greenmech 19-28 chipper. It has been a great machine with dry hard wood and most firs but I am havin constant problems with it blocking when chipping castlewellin golds and now that the leaf is on most trees, birch and sycamore etc. it has new blades in, new anvils and a new shout. has anybody else had these problems? Cheers matt.
  4. 500hrs but pretty sue the clock has been changed at some stage. all I know is that it chips like a demon, havnt put anything into it yet that it wouldn't pull through and we have been doing thorn and conifers all week. did block it a few times though, we have been playing around with the roller speed, is the no stress adjustable? can you buy a winch for them?

There is two being sold here pete, both by M/Large trees. I Was chatting to alan in the parts department, Im sure you have dealt with him before, have bought a few parts off him before and have had no hassel.
  7. Hope you don't mind me jumping on here but I was wondering how well these 150 greenmech deal with small brash and hedge trimmings as hedge cutting is about 30% of my work. thanks
