    I'm planning on quitting my job doing this course in April next year, this thread has been really helpful in the decision making. so thanks to all that have contributed. I've studied woodland management in the past but never managed to make a career from it (I couldn't afford to spend years volunteering!), hoping that this course will be a way into a career that I've wanted for a long time. I can't handle sitting in an office in front of a computer all day anymore, I just hear the woods calling!
