  1. i can vouch that chassis cleaner does damage the engines which run on the rotary type (Bosch) injection pumps as fitted to many Chelsea tractors. the chassis cleaner reacts with the aluminium body of the pump causing it to becomes gritty and the grit then jams in the pump rotor which in turn sheers. it may take a couple of weeks to work but it does work.
