Ha ha nice to honest! Do you lay the wood flat? I fancy something similar to split 1.5 lengths

I agree it's effective just cutting and dropping into a container saves having to pick up your logs. To make it even better if the saw over hangs the container that would guarantee the logs fall in the container. I like the idea of the wood weight and gravity making the cut.
The other thing for me is each log takes a cut to create. If you can load up a load of logs one cut creates lots of logs.

It's still just one at a time for me. I want to load up a saw horse and cut a load in one go. Save a shed load of time and fuel.

Sorry it does not show the tray very well. You put all the logs in the tray and slip the bag over the tray. There is a gap to let the bag go under the tray. You then just push logs and bag onto the wood and tie off! No lifting or dropping saves effort and your back. We only built it yesterday as the forestry Journal were coming to talk to us and after looking at some bagging systems thought we could make a better one!

We have an Aga Whenlock a great stove! But it's the only one we have ever had so have no comparison! Our neighbour has a Morso and an Aga

That looks as scary as the log splitter we posted in videos yesterday! The stand that "holds" the saw in the uk is made by a few companies and literally clamps the blade. It's pretty slow at cutting wood and it has to be pretty straight.
With this cray one your going to get knackered fast is you have to keep holding the wood above your waist and the chainsaw!

I've got a Bosch for cutting at home and its great. It does not have the power of a petrol but you can use it and not wake up the neighbours! I got it off eBay for 30 quid bargain I think the stihl work saw was about 400. We have also just got the battery version for demos and its a good bit of kit but the chains too thin and it gets caught often

I think it'd take you hand and then your arm! Funny thing is I think it's so dangerous you have to respect it and really stay on the ball when using it.

Wow that would be a piece of art if it was in Grizdale!
