  1. I 've been using mine for two months now and like it, but have had my right hand leg loop pop open three times now, twice up the same tree; which shouldn't happen surely? Anyway all I can guess is that my flipline and tool strop have caught the catch. Has anyone else had similar experience or have I got a dodgy clip on my leg loop??

  2. I think the way forward is to plan new developments with trees as part of the original planning including the ones that are there already(of course). Surely we need to be putting in foundations with planting plans included. Ok I am a dreamer, but is it really that difficult, architects need to take a step forward in the way they look at things(not all of them). This would also provide lots more work for all of us:thumbup1:.sorry if I drifted away from the thread.

  3. One day is just a taster, I see something I have missed on every visit:thumbup: the Ginko and weeping Beech are just a couple of my favourites aswell as the ones that Paul has already mentioned.

  4. We used to have this problem all the time.I worked with a friend as the tree gang of a large landscape, maintenance firm and were running a tracked and towable chipper which sometimes went out with the maintenance boys, every time it was used by any one but us this happened. There was a lot of shouting in the shed but they still could not get it. Very annoying and costly.Retards:thumbdown:

  5. Hello Rupert,

We are also considering a briquette press and Northern Energy Systems are only a few hours away from us so we may go & see them sometime soon if they have a machine for us to see in the flesh.

    Hello AM,

We will need to see one in action before we spend out,but we are near Cheltenham,so a long way to travel. What wood are you intending to use? We are intending just building wood. We are in early stages at the moment but would be very interested in any feedback.

    Thanks Rupert

  6. Has anybody had any dealings with Northern energy systems. Thinking of buying large press hammer mill combo, diesel model but any other alternatives or advice welcome. This would mainly be for carpentry waste.

    thanks in advance Rupert

  7. Just found this to answer my own question, not that easy by the look of it!
