Hi Ben,

Are you interested in a couple of days processing next week? We have all the seasoned cordwood ready and we can provide the forklift. We will process straight into bags.

We are in Hertfordshire. Are you interested, if so what would you charge?

Thanks

 4. Hi all, We are low on our bagged 25cm logs and don't own our own processor so require a man and machine to help us out to bag some more up. We are in Hertfordshire between ware and buntingford, just below the A10. I would very much appreciate if someone can help us or provide details of someone who can. We would ideally want to start ASAP. No preference in type machinery used. Can provide a forklift if needed. Many thanks Edd
 5. Great advice all, many thanks. I have definitely contemplated the cord wood route and if this year doesn't prove as fruitful as first thought it could be the way forward. Thanks again.
 6. Thanks for the advice all, we will stick to our guns, the product is a good one. Look forward to reading up on the Kiln and will follow up all the suggestions. We are in Much Hadham between Bishops Stortford and Ware, delivery is free within a 30kms radius. If your interested let me know.
 7. Thanks guys, very helpful. We have contacted the local stove companies and they have said they already have their supplier, guess it will be a case of continually badgering them until they give us a go. Kiln dried is something we have thought of but never looked at prices of set up, it would be something we could charge a premium for around here as no one else offers it. Where is your kiln from/ best company to buy from?
 8. Hi All, We are really struggling for orders this year, a relatively new company in the Hertfordshire area, we appreciate that majority of firewood users already have their suppliers. We have done all the usual marketing, shops, petrol stations, local hardware stores, signs on the road , website, sign written trucks, but sales are still very slow The wood we have is all very good quality seasoned hardwood and comes out of our own woodlands, the company who processed it for us commented on how good it is and actually asked if they could buy it of us. We have the wood in 2 different sized bags and a method of delivering in place so all we need now is customers. Obviously we don't want to put people out of business but we are an estate and need to sell this wood as we have more coppice coming out of our woods in January. Any ideas on what people have done to drum up more interest. Any help will be appreciated. Edd:001_smile:
 9. Hi, We are looking at processing around 300 tonne of wood this year, we are looking at purchasing the above machine. Has anyone had any experience with one of these, they seem good and strong enough to cope with out wood but was wanting to know if anyone had used one and what the down sides are? Many thanks Edd
