  1. During the summer I spend my free time in the garden, burning insects with a magnify glass. In the winter when the sun has less power I consolidate myself pulling spiders legs off.
  2. When I’m above my comfort zone, which is around 70 ft. I often get the nursery rhymes Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty stuck in my head. Think it’s my subconscious trying to calm me down by making light of the situation. Either that or the result of too many of the funny mushrooms that grow around silver birch as a youth.
  3. Ah yes, I’ve heard good things about them, it would be interesting to see one working. A bit worried it’ll make me regret buying the green mech though. Maybe I don’t want to see it, ignorance is bliss after all. Why do you think edwards so happy all the time:thumbup:
  4. We’ve only had it a month, so haven’t really used it enough to provide a useful average. Sorry.
  5. I recently went half’s with my boss on the 18Hp version, I’m pretty chuffed with it. It easily kicks the arse of other gravity feed chippers I’ve used. It does guzzle a bit though. Also bear in mind the trailer has to be purchased separately. But other than that it's a nice little machine.

Thank you, that would be of great help to me. I know of loads of sites around Cambridge but none about Bury. Cheers:thumbup:

No chainsaw. I had a couple of stitches put in before that picture was taken. It was hanging back further before, looked more like a hoof than a thumb. Silky slips can be nasty too. It goes all white, and you think you’ve gotten away with it, than it starts to pour.....

I think I've only ever caught my trousers once with the chain. Most of the holes I get normally get start of as exhaust burns.

I think the repetition of doing the same boring job all week effected my concentration somewhat. That and tiredness from being worked too hard by a slave driver boss

I was cutting the centre stubs level to match the sides up a conifer hedge. Saw snagged by the dogs on little wispy dead bit whilst revving down and got pulled towards my hand. So incorrect use of a top handled chainsaw basically
