i have an area of land just north of winchester and i am looking for a responsible and trustworthy person or company who need a chip site to tip of arb waste. In exchange for each tip of woodchip, i would want a load of hardwood logs. I am only looking for hardwood chip and logs with no green waste mixed in and no softwood chip or logs The amount i could take would be about 10-15 transit loads. So if anyone is interested send me a message.

Either using the winch or by hand depending on how much timber there is. I have considered buying a timber crane to load the trailer. It's a big investment but I if I can generate enough sales then I can justify buying the crane

I was just wondering if there is a market out for woodland/landowners who require a light weight or small timber extraction as I have a tractor and a small forestry trailer with articulated axles the internal dimension are 6ft x 3ft. I use this in my own woodland me to extract my own fire wood The only thing is that I don't have a crane fitted to the trailer but I do have a winch but I might consider fitting a crane if I could find enough people who might be interested in this service. The ares that I could cover would be dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire This might be a useful source of income for me in winter time when my gardening work slows down. So if anyone has any hints or tips as to where I could get started it would be appreciated

<p>Hi mate. Don't know about you but I got completely soaked today at work. I got so pissed of with my van that I belted it with a sledge hammer and now there is a nice dent in the door. The van is on borrowed time anyway. Went to look at my new tractor yesterday as it is being rebuilt. I think I will be buying a pto twin feed chipper. Just got to find one for the right price £2500 top price. Any ideas mate</p>

Hi all, I,m new to the forum so excuse me if I,m not great at how it all works. I,m thinking about buying a pto chipper for my david brown 780 tractor 45hp. What about a second hand one or a cheap one. Most of the stuff I will be chipping will be hedge cuttings, pruning from shrubs etc as I am a gardener and not a tree surgeon but I do prune shrubs upto 5 meters in height. I have looked at a brand called housemartin which is twin feed and costs £2500 new. Is this a cheap pile of junk or should I look at something else. I can't afford a new timberwolf as they are mega money. Any help or suggestions great appreciated
