I have watched all of their videos and can only assume that they have a log splitter for the big stuff which will on take up to a certain length. The guy on the grapple cuts all of the timber to the same length.
The videos of the camera on the loader are excellent. He knows what he is doing, raking up with a log every day without having to have a digger on site must save huge amounts of time.
i thought the same about the short lengths ... or maybe the tall guy who normally cuts them was off that day lol

I was thinking using the billets , strapping with the Knoti on pallets to go into the kiln , each 1.2m pallet pallet would equate to approx 1.7m loose filled. Easier to stack and store ready for either sale as billets or processed into logs

Thanks everyone I will give it a try today.as the freezer is in my workshop/shed,and its such a big saw I think the freezer will be annex of the bench. Oh the main problem is that it won't pull over its not seized because it will pull with the spark plug removed there is no decompression button
Anyway I will keep the info coming
