  1. Hi all Have a few acres of Christmas trees which were planted too tight, and grown too tall to be of any use. Going to cut them up for logs for the workshop burner (should last me 20 years!) So I'm going to be left with a couple of thousand stumps between 5-15" across - was just wondering whether a forestry mulcher would be able to deal with this to bring the land back to a state of being able to start planting again? If so any recommendations of forestry mulcher contractors in East Kent would be appreciated. Cheers
  2. Cheers guys, unfortunately they were planted too close together in the first place, so the bottom 10/20ft is just dead, and the tops look a bit too spindly to be selling, some good, arrow straight trunks up to 10in thick though!
  3. Hi I've got about an acre plot of Xmas trees that after years of neglect I am trying to get rid of to start afresh. I have removed most of the smaller trees, but still have 500ish trees that are anything up to about 35ft tall. Just wondering if anyone knows if there would be any uses for them before I set about chopping and burning? I'm overrun with logs so don't really need any firewood. Any thoughts appreciated! Ta
