  1. <p>try this one <a href="http://www.logsplit.net" rel="external nofollow">Logsplit 200 kindler - Kindler logsplit 200 home</a></p>

  2. Hi I am looking for a kindling splitter, hopefully with a single ram and a set of say 5 or 6 knives that the ram will push the timber through. The timber will be either cut-to-length boards or small round logs (also cut-to-length). Ideally I am looking for something that can be manually operated, not electric or petrol driven and also cheap. Anyone know of such a machine or were I could get one, cheers! Something like this video or a manual version: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm8Je2uoImo]KINDLING MACHINE FOR BOARDS: For Sale in Laois - YouTube[/ame]
  3. Remove the nails, but if there are any akward ones then i resort to cutting
  4. Best way is pallets, strip off the boards, run them through a chopsaw to get them all equal lengths. The chopsaw will speed up the operation, then use a small hatchet to chop each cut off into 4 or 5 pieces. That seems to be the best way to do small scale kindling. The only way I can think to improve it is if a manual piece of equipment could be fabricated to do the work of the hatchet more quickly, or at least chop more cut offs in the one move, any ideas??
