  1. thought that would be the answer, lol....the carb saws still worth modifying tho? never run one to get a comparison, but i hear a muff mod is worthwile
  2. Afternoon folks, been lurking for a while, trying to find answers to my 261c woes, thought it would be best to just ask, the 261c was purchased from a dealer last march, started cutting out when chain brake was applied, got clutch bearing replaced, but since that was running s#*te so got new filters, plug & carb clean & reset done last week, now seems to run good intermittently? the drum has a small wobble still, was told its normal on this saw .....thinking of selling the saw once sorted. While waiting for it to be repaired managed to pick up an ms 240 & ms 260 (solid mid ground saws that ive run in past) run by for want of a better word amateurs, so they aint had a beasting, my question is would any mods on the carb saws take them close to their modern counterparts? any advice would be hugely appreciated, thanks in advance
