  1. Hi, I am looking at buying a disused pump-house with 8 acres of grazing land but the building is not registered as residential dwelling. The person that owns it could not get change of purpose and is selling it. I have tried to get advice on change of purpose on legal sites but the response is just negative with no advice what so ever. After many searches I came across a post on this forum that was of some help. What I would like to know is if I was to rent more grazing land from a farmer raising my acreage to to say 15 acres and was to keep live stock on the land e.g. sheep, pigs and chickens what would my chances of getting change of purpose on the pump-house to residence and how long would I have to keep renting the extra land. I want to keep live stock so keeping them would not be a problem. Negatives and positive answers please. Thank you.
