  1. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows of or has access to a proper service manual for the 151tc. I have the one for the 200t and its brilliant and so detailed. But I can only find the crap owners manual for the 151. I'm mainly after it so I can maintain my 151 properly, have managed a piston swap on my 200t with the help of the manual. Secondly if anyone knows the max no load rpms for the 151? The 150 is 12,800rpm, I assume the 151 is the same but it's not stated in the owners manual. Many thanks for any help.
  2. Thanks spud. I'll just see how it goes i guess. :-)
  3. Ah cheers. So what do you reckon - it wont last long before just conking out?
  4. Some more photos, if it they help: I have no idea where he got the pot, its safe to assume cheap. The thing i cant remember is whether the hole was there when i got the saw. Pretty sure i would have noticed when i first looked it over, but maybe not. The hole is off centre as you can see from the photos, and is pretty rough, with a crumbly edge. Thanks for taking an interest.

    MS 260

  6. Ah right, so that hole is just a flaw from when it was made? So nothing to worry about? Cool thats what i thought i should do with the H screw, thanks.
  7. Hi guys, Hoping for some advice about a mysterious (to me) hole in the cylinder of my 260, near the spark plug. Hopefully the pictures work and you can see what i mean: So bit of background - bought the saw recently off a guy who put new crank seals, pot and piston in and carb. First it ran fine, then it would stall when i let the throttle off and then wouldn't restart. I thought this might mean it was running rich, so i reset the carb to manufacturers settings, and got it idling ok. Then it ran fine all day on quite a big job, lots of logging so was working hard. It still runs fine but afterwards cleaning it i noticed this hole. The spark plug was white aswell, which i know suggests running lean? Anyone have any light to shed on this? Would like to retune it if nescessary before i do another job as i dont want to damage it through running lean. Thanks a lot for any help, much appreciated. Cheers Alex

  10. Hi all, I was just wondering if Husqvarna produce workshop manuals that go into as much depth as the Stihl ones with detailed step by step drawings on how to assemble and dis-assemble all the various parts e.g. the clutch. All I've been able to find is these: http://www.husqvarna.com/ddoc/HUSO/HUSO2010_EUenAPen/HUSO2010_EUenAPen__1153163-26.pdf Which aren't anything like as detailed as the Stihl ones: http://www.worldoftrainz.com/Downloads/Files/Stihl/MS261%20Service%20Manual.pdf I've had to rebuild the clutch on 2 261s and found the manual really useful, as I dont rrrreeeally know what I'm doing, would be good to have something similar for husky, not that anything ever goes wrong on our 346 :-) Cheers Alex
