    Reading your link on arbtalk. Allways looking for people to pick up wood from sites when we have a surplus, we have a yard in ickleford.

     

    pm me and we could see what we could do, as for saw sugestions had a husqvarna 365, good powerful saw, will take up to 24" but 18" is ideal. Also brought apprentice husq. "hobby" saw, just over 200 new at abbey garden supplies, is the cheapest husqvarna they manufacture themselves, think its a 435, quite impressed for money. Would suggest second hand chansaw trousers at the very least. i use a saw day in day out and wouldnt start one without them!!
