    After Arb

Thanks for all the replies guys, however I am actually twenty three and expect many years ahead. I created this post as I injured my knee and haven't been able to work, not even as a chipper bitch! But good to know for the future, cheers again Alex Mitchell Utility Arborist

    After Arb

A message probably for you older guys and girls but what have people gone on to do after tree work? When your body is holding you back and you can't climb quite as fast as you once did. I'm not talking management or yard duties, more work in the field where you need your brains not brawn. Any suggestions? Alex Mitchell Utility Arborist
  9. Hey guys, first post and im sure not the last. Ive spent the past 3 or so years doing tree work in the south west, including waterways, highways and utilities work but find myself more often out of a harness than in one. I joined this game to climb, so I have begun to look into rope access and getting my level one IRATA qualification. With a hope to perhaps go into NDT, surveying or perhaps geo as I hear there's still some tree work involved. Has anyone made this move from arb to access that might have some incite or words of wisdom. Hope to hear from you guys, cheers
