  1. Thanks for all your input, let's see if his offer is accepted! We have a very old JCB so that should help digging it out, how would you get rid of the cuttings? No hurry for a nice lawn as the rest of the lawn is about 18" high
  2. My son is looking at a house that has a large patch 20ft diameter of Bamboo in the middle of a lawn, its about 12-15ft height from memory. So how do we remove it? And a small patch of Nettles
  3. We have a very tatty looking but structurally sound 1968 Unimog 404. Its Ex German Military Registered as an Historic vehicle and used a a toy not working. It's fitted with two Hitches that I am not familiar with. One on the front one on the rear, I am assuming this is all ok and legal as I see other vehicles with them, it just seems to be a big dangerous lump sticking out of the front and rear, I just want to be armed incase a police man chooses to stop us Also what are the rules on tyres that protrude the body work? We are about to fit smaller tyres that won't stick out but I just wondered? IMG_0890.HEIC

Tyre fitting is one of the many jobs that look easy until you have a go. I am old enough to leave it to a professional.

Just been recommended this place, very helpful and competitive pricing too, just need to find one more wheel! Do you think any one would want the old style cookie cutter wheels? We have two on the front and normal steels on the rear. Specialty Tyre Store WWW.BIGTYRES.CO.UK Buy specialty tyres, tubes & wheels online from Big Tyres. Get great prices, fast delivery & unbeatable customer service. Every size & application covered.
  7. The brake hoses are well past it, I have seen a kit of hoses for £100ish but local factors are about £10 each but we have as yet only identified one the rear Torque tube hose is a Porsche 911! Any one know the part numbers? We have a manual but sadly no parts book. Also any leads on a carb rebuild kit?
