  6. I am a hard working person (very much used to the 13 hours a day, 6 days a week) currently looking for Harvesting/Chainsaw work preferably in the Yorkshire area (Based near Thirsk, North Yorkshire) but I do have a caravan so can work throughout the UK. I have three and a half years experience in harvesting (have also done a fair bit of forwarding although I don't have the ticket) and general forestry work in Northern Scotland. I have CS30 to CS32 and occasionally work as a grounds person for a local tree surgeon. Recently renewed my First Aid certificate to. References available Give me, Joe, a call on 01439 772167 or 07584135181 or if anyone could point me in the direction of someone who may have work it would be greatly apprectiated.
  7. I've got plenty of work harvesting but i hate being sat on me arse in a cab for 13hour days, it just isn't me. I am based in North Yorkshire but I drive the harvester way up in Scotland at Campbelltown which therefore means I am away 3 weeks at a time living in A caravan on site, sometimes even longer, away from family
  8. Thanks for your replies, I am getting all my tickets this year and that is going to cost me 2300 but i can do other work also until the tree surgery (if it does) takes off, I am currently a self employed (tree) harvester driver at the minute. I have been researching about getting in to the business of tree surgery for a while now and I am very much aware it will be hard work but if you want something you work for it .
