    hello there i have got to quote a planting job,ive had a bit of a workout but could possibly be miles out has anyone got any experience in planting?the site is one hectare,1600 trees with 2.5m spacing,to supply stakes, shelters and trees any pointers would be much appreciated!!

    £36/t road-side,could have a deal if you collect it at ride side as extraction route to good enough loading bay for artics is long way!!

    Hello, im thinking about starting to sell logs in bulk to trade only and pretty much wind down my normal round,does anyone have any experience or information on this?,possibly exporting?I am a forestry contractor cutting mainly firewood so no problem with sourcing wood.any advice would be greatly accepted.many thanks

    hello there, im starting a large handcutting job in the new year on an estate that has its own forwarder which means i need to find a forwarding job to keep mine busy. forwarding only or whole job considered,im based in the south east of england and have a valmet 860 purpose built forwarder available for thinnings, clear fell,site clearance or coppicing.i am prepared to travel for the right jobs and to pay very well for standing timber. any ideas??
