  1. Can any one recommend any sprays to help with a woolly Aphid infestation on a customers apple trees ? Thanks in advance, Jay.

     

     

     

     

    From our Agronomist;

     

    Woolly Aphid is starting to become more obvious on trees. These are the breeding colonies, mainly on burrs and pruning cuts, and they will start to migrate onto branches over the next few weeks. Aphox (at high water volume and good temperatures) Gazelle or Mainmain are the main control options. Calypso is not particularly effective.

  2. One of the members put a picture of a great one they made out of ply jaws and long coach screws to hold the logs in place.

     

    Wonder if they could put it up again as it was a work of art!
