  1. Why should I deny we are owned by an international timber trading company (which sells plywood, amongst other things). As I said it has NO influence on our products. None of our products are made in the same mills that the plywood comes from. It is completely separate (as stated before!). So you don't need to worry about any plywood offcuts being made into our briquettes. The briquettes we are offering as trade are our Birch and Alder, Premium Wood Briquettes, not the Hardwood Eco-Logs. We are running down the stock on those. They were bought as a trial to test the market. Personally I believed that a list of the moisture content for every log on the market wouldn't really look good for our website. So I didn't put it on there. I am not on here to start arguments or pick holes in peoples websites. As a supplier of briquettes we are looking for stockists, not a debate. If you have interest then please contact, if not their are plenty more threads on this forum that are looking for opinions and ideas.
  2. A friendly reminder to contact me on [email protected] or [email protected] as I am not always on this forum. renewablejohn - can you refrain from making such assumptions on a public forum, rather than just e-mailing me directly as asked. We are not using this thread to advertise our products or give detailed information about our company. We are asking genuine potential stockists to speak to us, as we prefer to do our business directly with our clients. The fact we are owned by an international plywood company has no influence on our products or our business ethos. Both businesses are handled separately.
  3. For anyone new to this thread please contact [email protected] for the details of these wood briquettes. I am also on arbtalk under gppwoodfuel if you want to PM me. Liam has moved to a different side of the company, so I will be able to answer any questions or queries you have. Kind Regards Sam Brady
  4. Hi We sell packs of 12 solid briquettes. Each briquette will burn up to 3 hours, and we can deliver anywhere in the UK. To your postcode, delivery is £50. For two pallets we can do £40 a pallet, but we are restricted I'm afraid on delivery prices. Moisture Content 8% Ash 1% Do not expand or break when burning Have a look around to decide what kind of briquette meets your requirements. Their can be small briquettes that you will need to put more on the fire to start with, and keep topped up. But these will work out cheaper. You get the briquettes with a hole in. These look more aesthetically like a log, and can normally be broken in half by hand. Probably middle of the range on price, and burn times vary. We sell the RUF shape briquette. More of a house brick shape, keeps it shape during the burning process. Gives off a high heat output. I would advise get a sample pack of any briquette you choose, just so you are 100%. All the suppliers should be ok to send you a sample pack. Some charge a one off fee, others take the cost off your first order. If you would like any more info on ours, just PM me or visit the website. Hope this helps
  5. The most important thing is to research the area, and where possible either deliver yourself in the build up to your busiest time or get someone you trust to deliver for a bit of extra cash. We find our leaflet drops have always worked really well. We do them in rural areas/villages near us. We assess what areas get a lot of leaflets eg. local takeaways nearby and we go off the beaten track a bit. An extra ten minutes walk down a country lane could be a couple of hundred pounds of work. We used a company recently to deliver 5000 and have so far only had two or three orders from them. (although they haven't quite delivered them all yet, but I'm not too hopeful) GPP Wood Fuel

  7. Hi Andy Yes these are imported. We are part of a worldwide timber trading company, and the briquettes are from the waste residue used in their mills in Eastern Europe. We stock Birch and Alder briquettes, Pine Pellets as well as the Hardwood Briquettes Sam
  8. Hi We are a company based in Kent that supplies Wood Briquettes and Pellets. I would be happy to for you to try a sample pack of our hardwood briquettes. We are based near Tonbridge. Please let me know if you are interested You can e-mail me at [email protected]
