  1. She's winging her way to Steve now.
  2. Has anyone gone through this scheme? I like the idea of getting an apprentice on board and wondered what people's thoughts were.
  3. Will it have been the last fill up that did the damage or could it have been from weeks ago?
  4. Right cheers for that, I was sceptical all sounded too cheap and easy. Might be back to Spud then or Chinese replacement.
  5. That's what he said a hone type thing. Not the answer then ?
  6. Unfortunately I can't afford a Spud fix So have a mechanic friend who says he can clean out the cylinder with a tool he has and I've bought a piston. Once it's fitted I'll let you know how she runs.
  7. Had to climb and section this down before it could be winched over. The stem of one of the limbs landed and kicked the base. Defiantly scariest climbing moment.
  8. I see what your saying but can't really see how it would be the companies fault, it wasn't scored when they sold it to me. Getting the saw sent away for testing then taking them to small claims court is not really going to be worth all the hassle and will end up costing more than a repair.
  9. Hi Eddie Cheers for the thought, can you pm me your best prices please. Do people run all their saws on aspen or just the top handles or just the big saws ? Thanks
  10. Where do you buy them from eddy? eBay?
  11. No way! That's good service.
  12. We use oregon oil. Stale fuel is my first hunch. Seriously thinking aspen is the way forward.
  13. Yes that's one plan but I've been reading about cleaning them up as an option
  14. Cheers Alec, I've been assured that it's poor fuel/mix. The spark plug was black on one side and biscuity on the other. That oem seems a very cheap fix. Is it better than the Chinese ones?
  15. I've been reading up that he's the man. I'll pm, thanks
