  1. Well, an update on the Fiskars x27 splitting axe i bought from amazon.com. Just got an email this morning from amazon telling me that i have been refunded the import tax charges, so am getting £8.50 back. This makes the cost of the axe £41.50ish!!!! Even more of a bargain. cheers Stu
  2. that looks a canny supply "log supplier". Where you getting that from if you don't mind me asking? I'm in the NE too, so probably not too far away. cheers Stu
  3. Hi everyone, googled a few firewood suppliers in the newcastle area, but wondering if anyone has any personal recommendations for a seasoned firewood supplier. cheers stu
  4. would recommend Amazon.com too for purchasing a fiskars x27. Ordered mine on a Friday night and it was waiting for me when I got home the following wednesday. Total pirce was about £50.00. No customs to sort out as this was paid in advance via the amazon website. cheers Stu
