  1. hello, i currentley have a stihl ms 170 fore my general cutting work and it does fine for small trees and cutting logs ready for splitting, the problem is that i have alot of bigger trees around that i would eventully like to fell to clear ground and a friend of mine has also asked if i would remove some of his too. i guess the biggest tree would be about 2 foot in diamiter, the majority of them are hardwood and im worried im going to over my little 170 cutting it up, i need a saw man enough to do maby 2 days a week felling and chopping logs with a bar big enough so i dont have to faf around doing 2 cuts but i dont want to pay a fortune for something that is going to be over kill, also if anyone has a second hand saw let me know, many thanks Tom
