  1. As long as the saw starts hot the kit is not needed you will know if it needs it, mine nearly got put under the tractor wheel for not starting.

The carb will alter it's setting using a flywheel sensor to measure rpm a temp sensor and also a throttle position sensor. When plug into a computer it tells you loads of info like whom purchased the saw (if entered at time of purchase) pnc no, serial number, carb number, coil info, software version, hours used with a breakdown of what rpm range, number of starts there's loads more as well

It's on the opposite side to the engine consealed by a small metal plate with 3 or 4 small bolts can put a parts picture up when I'm in work 2moz to show you.

  5. In-between the two roller halfs are one way roller bearing like what you fine on a bike back wheel. Take the roll pin out of the sproket chain drive side take the bolts and screws from the bearing chases and remove the bearings. The roller shaft with the roller should come out pull off the roller parts and you will see the bits I'm on about. Give these a good soak in lube. Remove with a hammer and punch and replace check the inside o the rollers for wear. When it all goes back together it may need shimming. Top tip weld it up.
