looking to buy my first log splitter to use at home, not sure if i should get a electric or a petrol one also whats the minimum ton pressure i should get bearing in mind im only going to be splitting small stuff ie 10-15 inch diameter?

don't really like it but i think he wants leylandii or similar but i just want to offer some alternatives,if it was me then i would mix it up!

found it a little intimidating to start with but after a few days / weeks it just felt like i was driving a big transit van its just the gears you have to get used too,then if you go for your class 1 that will propa screw your head up! love lorry driving but i would not do it all again cos there just too much sh1t comes with the job now,hope i never have to drive one again but its always a good thing to have under your belt.

i don't really do much planting but a chap i know who has a small holding has asked if i could get hold of about 1000-2000 fast growing trees for wind breakers and privacy around the edges of his property,any advice welcome.

just moved into the mansfield nottingham area and been doing a few small jobs but as the weeks go by im getting asked to do bigger and bigger jobs that i cant do by my self ! new website and advertising campaign bringing in regular work,any climbers in the notts area want the odd day hear and there pm me your details thanks scott.

well id thought about the pricing and yes it could add up quite quickly but admittedly didn't really think about the safety side of things !
