So, it could be said that more advanced trees such as oak, will CODIT better as they rely on it to continue growing. rather than trees like willow or birch (faster growers) that will just try and outgrow the infection? Just a thought, birch trees are considered as pioneer species, could it be in their DNA not to CODIT, so that they don't last forever, therefore leaving space for other trees to grow as they fall over?

Hi all looking into CODIT, some trees can compartmentalise better than others, excluding variables such as tree vigour, health and location. does anyone know why some species CODIT better than others? thanks in advance

Some people get through life by acting rude and arrogant to get their own way. my advice would be to listen to their opinion and then calmly lay out your opinion, referencing previous experience in the matter. failing that, if they are a pain from the word go, they will probably be a pain when it comes to critisizing your work, and payment. let them be someone elses problem!

Iv ended up with some surplus Moto x / freeride stickers and wanted to make my helmet stand out as others are always picking it up!! couple of stickers shouldnt hurt it, should it?

Personally i cant see how it would, but could adding stickers to a helmet be seen as degrading its protection level? as I am beyond bored of my plain orange lid! anyone else added any stickers to their helmet?

recently lost my sewn strap through the chipper (definatley wont pass its loler now ) and after getting clogged up my Karabinas arent closing properly, any advice on a good cleaning product and a good size for a new sewn strap? any feedback would be grand!

Hi all, Unfortunatley despite about 12 reminders not to my partner just popped my stein evolution class a saw trousers in the drier, I have been told this can have a bad effect on the protective fibres? any feedback would be great

I am located in the Midlands of the UK, this fungi was on a Black Popular stump recently taken down. the fruiting body had a large bubbly white appearance that looked like filler, however this is definatley not filler! to touch, although it was a solid was very moist and very cold. a short amount of time later (days), the fungi had began to dry up, and soon blew away in a dust form. this has truly stumped me (excuse the pun) any Ideas?

Weve all heard of it, however this one takes the biscuit. I have canceled my old insurance policy, they should have given me a good sized refund however are insisting they have sent it, despite my bank insisting i havnt received it. their excuse so far is that there was no security on their refund, and therefore they cant get it back. to which I said thats their own fault and their problem, i want my refund. so I am sending bank statements from this month and last to prove i have received no refund. has anybody heard or came across this before? any advice would be appretiated! many thanks

Iv have been using an ms260 for felling, processing, snedding... the lot for years and have never had a problem, great saw! better than the 261.

Hahaha! When working near Oxford, one chap in his merc decided to filter past the traffic like a motorcycle, when he realised that there wasnt a long line of parked cars in a 50 limit, and that he was infact on the wrong side of the road he had to reverse all the way back, which gave us enough time to get everyone down from the mupes and trees in order to give him a round of appause when he came past, claiming "we havnt put any signs out".

Done a couple of Jobs on a road now, you get the usual muppet trying to run a red light and then having to reverse back, or the odd car following you into the site even though you having beacons on. Anyone else got any roadside events they fancy sharing?
