    Thanks for the offer but the rest of the saw is still fighting fit, it's only the top cover that I need. My old 50 has stepped in to cover for it. Thanks for the response though.

    This is my first post, I hope I'm not breaking any rules with a plea for help!! My old 242xp has now got a broken top cover due to my own clumsiness (really wish I could blame someone else but no)! I have try all the places I know for a second hand replacement but no joy. She's a cracking saw but can't justify buying new. Is there a chance that someone out there has one they would like to sell. If I am in the wrong place for this I apologise!! Thanks Dom
