  1. There is light at the end of the tunnel watch this space:001_cool:
  2. z\ My OH was home when it was done. Totally ignored apart from childish comments from other family members Neighbour wouldn't know courtesy if it waved a big banner saying "i'm courtesy". but anyway looks as if we haven't got a leg to stand on. council says its got to go and looks as if we've got the bill too. So bl**dy frustrating but if they're not behind us.. what can we do? I think they just think its a neighbour's dispute. we just don't need the aggrevation so we're going to give in for a quiet life. So does anybody near us want a job ? Between Hatherleigh & Holsworthy Devon I will start a new thread for this!
  3. Not for houses apparently, it only applies to farms, so i've been told
  4. I really don't know, he's a bit of a strange one, never speaks to anyone. he cut a few trees down his side and put the chainsaw through the other side neighbours phone cable and didn't tell them... it wasn't untii BT came out that they sussed out what the problem with their phone was:001_rolleyes:
  5. John you're just up the road from us we're between hatherleigh & holsworthy:biggrin:
  6. I phoned the council today and they sent a chap from Highways who was very noncommital who is refering it to the tree warden. My OH got the impression..." it was just another neighbours dispute":001_rolleyes: It hasn't got a TPO on it afaik We're really not happy about it. Not only have we lost the tree but will be out of pocket too. How much would it cost to have something like that removed bearing in mind that it has 2 oil tanks approx 2m away and phone cables near oh yes and near a main A road
  7. Hi I'm chickem and I need help please! I have been referred to this site by a couple of members of the downsizer forum who said that you could give me some knowledgeable advice..... My neighbour:BoomSmilie_anim: decided to remove his half of a devon bank at the weekend leaving us with this.....Is it safe? Thanks
