haven't the brass neck for it but I know some people that are amazing at it like the guy that got a landy I looked at but didn't haggle he managed to get it from £1100 down to £350!! it was a series 3 the bulkhead was pretty bad shape but otherwise it was on a galvie chassis and had an overdrive fitted! man I wished I had the gift of the gab!

on galvie chassis too

don't know who some fowk have worked with, but you do tend to get the feeling sometimes that ground staff are worthless good for nothing braindead morons plucked from the dole queue and should be talked about and treated as excrement on ones shoe!
-
sooner ye get started the better really, nowt wrong with starting later but it gets harder

There's plenty of machines disappeared forever in the bogs up here.

Look at the Rabaud Tirmax 4 its run by tractor hydraulics, from 1 spool, it has a 4 tonne constant line pull and uses a chain instead of a cable. A bit different to the norm, but we have supplied one to a local estate and they work it hard. has a 3 way direectional lower blade as well. no need for front pto, just use the linkage.
that looks like what Thompson trees near me have on their valtra although not seen it up close, not sure about the chain though! im guessing there's a reason that's not the accepted norm on winches?

I made one up from two of these type of pallets just spring off half the boards nestle the two together like meshing your fingers and use boards to brace it mucho cheapo or even free! cut loads of firewood on it no bother
biggest thing for you re: your back is setting the right work height pallets might not be the best if you are quite tall though that's the only thing
-
only really had experience of dewalt as a big brand (had cheapo ones myself but cheaps cheap ) and was quite impressed with it standing up to being dropped into a tank of water and coming out working fine!
-
some great old footage here, yes i'm hungover ok

Hold out for a 3 litre (35c14), pulls like a train which is handy if you're fully loaded with a reasonable size chipper or full 3.5T trailer.
Regards,
Steve.
yep good 'n' powerful , gearboxes are crap though well not the box itself exactly but the cable linkage bit like a stick in a bucket of swill!

driven by anyone can be a weapon regardless of age, and if you can drive a 44ton hgv at 18 why not a tractor? lets face it there are plenty people who shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car! it's the person not the age
-
guess it depends on the police suppose all you can do is put in a request, damned unreasonable really when a cat 3 load can only do 40 on motorway, yet a fastrack is denied for one mile! sigh probably a lot to do with agricultural tractor still meaning likes of a wee grey fergy to the pen pushers

-

-
dunno about a 141 but a 191 the front pto runs the opposite direction krpan winches have two shafts for front/rear usage you simply swap over a cover

Falling is not the problem.
