  8. Oak has to be my favourite, im only 17 but have been climbing for a few years. But you cant beat the mighty oak; beautiful to look at, awesome to climb and makes brilliant logs. Also the smell of the sawdust is good aswell
  9. Yeah, Black & Decker make a few and i think Makita do aswell. But they dont look brilliant... they take hours to charge up and only last about half an hour. Im wondering if the technology from Stihl's battery hedgetrimmer will be put into a chainsaw?
  10. Heya guys, Im currently doing a project on petrol against electric saws... Stihl have brought out a battery powered hedgetrimmer. Our company have invested in the machine and have to admit, its a rather good piece off kit; quick charging and fairly long usuage on the battery, lightweight and also comfortable to use. But will it be developed further? What are your thoughts on electic chainsaws? Do you think Stihl or another company may introduce a battery powered chainsaw? Or will petrol always be the best option? Thanks for your time!
