  1. Back end oil leak on valtra 8100. Coming front right under cab, running down fuel tank and coming out where prop meets gearbox. is a small intermittent leak, mostly little drip, sometimes continuos, sometimes nothing, everything working fine, and still using machine daily for timber extraction. Can not see where its coming from, so am asking if i can undo bolts and lift cab just by an inch or two to have a look, been told it maybe an oil seal on pto drive, or something to do with clutch or delta powershift that may mean splitting machine, hoping its something simple, but needs to be sorted. Any advice welcome Cheers Tom

    40T Mixed Ash, Beech, Oak, Hazel, Birch, Cherry, Maple, Willow £35m3

    (All 2m lengths av. 10-15cm dia. only a few 50cm+)

    25T Small coppice, mostly hazel £20m3

Recently bought a husky 576xp original air filter lasted about 4 weeks before breaking, replaced with similar mesh filter, seems fine at the moment, just wondered what the benefits of a heavy duty filter are? or if any 1 uses them?I'am a cutter using the saw 8 hours a day. It's not an auto tune model.

    I’ am managing a 200 acre private estate and need some help with pricing hardwood

     

    I need some rough roadside prices for;-

     

    Ash from 7” – 16” diameter per m3

     

    Beech at the same size per m3

     

    Oak at the same size per m3

     

    Mixed cordwood 7” and below per m3

     

    Sorry guys everything I am going to be cutting is sold
