  3. well just back from traveling abroad and some toerag has broke into my garage while im away and stolen most of my kit im pretty skint now but got a few jobs lined up so in desperate need of some second hand gear and thought id ask on here!! they took everything, my harness, flip line, spikes, ropes,wedges etc but luckily all my saws and hedge trimmers are in a different lock up so if anybody can help me out PLEASE let me know on here, i got some cash left but no way near to replace what the b@st@rds have had away :banghead: im in the midlands but will travel as far as poss if anyone can help, thanks for looking, a pissed off straight fell

  6. fecking quality lads id never noticed that before but no money in the world would be enough for me to do that up her that was a diesel spill from when we was filling the chipper and the daft cnut who did went over!!!!

  8. heres my old girl lol shes a ldv convoy tipper and is a great all round workhorse!!! ive got a proper back for her when we are chipping ill find some pics out later she pulls three lads, kit, chipper and logs no problem just not keen on hills an in all a good truck id never be with out a tipper again
  9. hi all this is my first proper topic on what i must looks a top site!!!! i suppose i best start by saying im no arborist if you have to climb it its a job for my mate who is hence the name straight fell but i have alot of experience on the ground and have used plenty of chainsaws over the years from electric 10 inch ones to a stihl ms880 with a 5ft bar on and imo nothing can beat stihl!!!!! anyway i found the above saw in a garage clearance and miker of the site is selling me a 21inch bar and chain, so i guess im asking what can i expect from the saw??? is it as powerful as the modern equivalent??? with it having no chainbrake will stihl service it??? basically any info on the saw would be great and miker the cheque will be in the post this week mate, thanks again for the offer
