Hi everyone. im looking to update my chip box currently have a homemade painted wooden one, that starting to look tired. Few questions. Steel or Aluminium? Have had quotes for both and theres only around £ 700 difference And also can any one recommend a fabricator (west mids)? Or has anyone used these fabricators? Hello Nathan im a free lance fully qualified and insured climber based in acock's green, i work for about 7-8 firms sporadicly not all local but always the lead climber. Can pm you a c.v if your still looking cheers pete..! -
Jenson more expensive but worth the extra pound notes! Surprised by the high praise for the green mechs on here, I free lance climb a lot for different firms and the quad chips I've come across have no guts and the roller spring often fails, and these machines are less than a few years old. Jenson for me..!!

Ello you lot, I've got a new start up company in Birmingham, trying to make the switch from free lance climbing to running my own thing.. Next bit of kit I need is a chipper 750 kg ish, around the 6" mark. Just seeing if any ones got a chipper "spare", or are thinking of up grading more likely maybe I could make a better offer than the part ex!! Just sending out the feelers really any help and advice would be appreciated cheers p.diddles : )
