As an supply u with big 7.5 ton lorry load mixed soft/hardwood.
Some in rings so just needs splitting!
£150 load
-
Last time I had a lorry like that filled with similar timber on the yard the driver handed me £250 to thank me for providing him with somewhere to dump 5 loads of it. Took ages to process so I could get rid of it, all those lengths & rings mixed up had to be hand sorted.
That's it.
We charge £20 transit load to take it
Same for chip😆

It was just a 4 acre test plot so why a harvester.
Just up road from me.
Heats one house on it so forage harvester bit overkill
-
Who runs a vehicle that also uses ad blue? pros & cons...Pump price or in bulk? ive heard it only has a 12 month shelf life
We have 2 artics on it and just about to buy new jcb tele handler thst has it.
We buy 1000 litre ibc for around £350
-
Will do joy.
Pleasure to do business with u.
No messing around is what i like
-

Thanks again
Our pleasure
Be with u tomorro nite wed morn with 2nd load!
-
Strikes me this is a fair deal. Not his fault if your miles away. If you are local you can make a decent return, if you're not then its not for you.
If u needed a load £750 delivered
-
some stupid comments on here. I had a load from nick, probably most profitable wood ive ever bought in. I mix it 50 / 50 with hardwood and market that as a stove mix. People love it. Cheers nick

I reckon Nick is only doing this to make money.
Oh, hang on a minute...
You'd be right in sayin that !
Timber gets burnt on fire in yard if I don't shift it.
-
I charge £35 per hour for forklift and would load a lorry in a lot less than an hour so I think your loading charge is a bit steep.even including travel time 4 hours is a nonsense
No disrespect
Your in Scotland
We charge £55 hr for tele handler down here.
Yes I could load in less than hour if u want all the **** that's been pushed up with it over last yr.
But I put 1/4 bucket full in at time.
Shake the crap out it so it falls through the riddle.
Tip that on the concrete pad.
Same again till there's good pile there then get good bucket load and in bulker.
The yard where timber is stored is good 45 mins away from us!
There's lot ***** on here seem to no everything but no **** all by looks it.
-
The lorry needs to earn £650 a day min or I might as well leave it on job it's doing
Haulage rate is based on there and coming back empty!
If I can get load scrap coming back that's my bonus which isn't likely to happen for next six months min!
It's a 4 hour round trip with forklift to load.
We use a 2 cubic meter riddle bucket to load with so minimal crap in load.
That takes an extra hour to load compared with normal grain bucket.
£160 min to load.
We get that to load a stobsrt lorry with chip which takes 2 hours round trip
The timber is free!
Anyone wants to send a lorry in and pay me £160 to load that's fine.
It's not my timber so won't be loadin for nothing.
Have 9 loads to do so can't be that bad a deal!
-
And do u think it loads itself????
Feel free to send a lorry in and pay us to load it!!
-
Hi nick. I maybe too far. Send me a quote if you haven't shifted it yet. Many thanks
Gad

-
25 ton bulker loads any good
-
It's at end of 40 acre field in long line and not stacked to high
There is lot smaller diam stuff in there though
-
I have 500 ton beech cut this time last yr

If it's left in shed for week after split goes down to 23ish
Sold over 450 load since 1st oct so no kilns for me!
-
Burning waste other than that derived from our own farm land
Basically burning untold amounts of tree rubbish over 5 yrs and not listening to there warnings
Was glad to pay that fine
Could been lot worse
And we didn't loose out!!!
-
We were fined £40000 two years ago this month.
-
