  1. Came across this crazy video today, bit of fun if you like music about seaweed I guess! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zC4PFpSDG7g]The Seaweed Under the Sofa[/ame]
  2. Cheers for that. I'll get in contact with them. Haven't been able to find anything for January sadly so I'll likely have to wait 'til April/May. Looks like Plumpton have their next start in May.
  3. Wow, there's a huge amount packed into that 6-week residencial course! Fast Track Tree Surgery Course : Proclimber Professional Arborist Products Online, Supplies for the professional arborist Cheers for the info. Anyone else know of other short-ish courses?
  4. Hi all! Hope we're all keeping warm enough! I need some course advice. I was enrolled on a 10 week tree surgery course starting mid Jan 2011 at Otley College which now looks like it won't go ahead (not enough interest for the winter start). Although I could wait 'til April/May I have been saving up to allow this change in career and want to get working and gaining practical experience as soon as possible! I've been trying to find similar courses around the country and have found Merrist Wood do a similar (9-week) course. But sadly it's full for their January intake... Anyone know of anywhere else? The course incorporated CS30,31,38,39, first aid cert, tree biology, pests & diseases, tree ID, tree assessment, ecology, and site visits.
