  1. No problem, that's what forums are for. There really isn't much on that board. The only part I suspect you can't get is that large chip, a PIC microcontroller that would have to be programmed. The developer's name is on the PCB but pure luck if they even still have the code. I will let you know towards the tail end of next week if it works, he will owe me plenty of beers that's for sure as I am sure it will.
  2. The output MOSFET is faulty BTS410E, I couldn't get the exact part but got a very similar one. I will change the sensor too.
  3. Well it gives 11v output continuously and green LED is on.
  4. The PCB is 12v, I will power it up at lunchtime and go from there.
  5. Thanks for the advice Andy. I thought it was going to be a pain to get out but a simple tap with a hammer and out it came. I am an electronics engineer and have an RS account so might go for a 12v one and hope for the best.
  6. My freinds chipper has a fault with the fast response tacho relay according to the repair shop. They have been back to Timberwolf and the part is no longer made and the only solution is to upgrade other parts which makes the machine uneconomical to repair. Long shot I know but does anyone have one or know how to repair it?
  7. Anyone know about the circuit and what this resistor does? I assume it drops the voltage to the motor of the feed rollers. Like the fan speed in the car it uses large resistors which always seems to fail.
